Welcome to my annual New Year's greeting! This time of year always inspires reflection on the past and anticipation for what's ahead. This past year, I had the wonderful opportunity to see my son perform at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh. I also received some valued referrals and enjoyed working with a few new clients. I also took some time to refocus on my personal artwork. Here are a few highlights from 2024:

Public Spaces..

I’m grateful to be one of 16 artists selected to create permanent art pieces for the Omaha Central Public Library, opening in 2026. Much thanks to Amplify Arts for helping to navigate this process. More about this in 2025!

Video Art..

I was selected to show an art video at Millwork Commons in Omaha via an open call by Amplify Arts. That piece, Four Worlds was later selected to be included in the show Contemporary Indigeneity 2024 at the Great Plains Art Museum from September 6th-December 20th.

Documentaries..

I worked closely with Academy Award nominated director Katja Esson to create many beautiful maps for her new documentary, Finding Florida. (Airing TBD)

A documentary I worked on a while back for Mak Pictures was released. Finding Amelia is airing on Max/Discovery+ here

Short Film..

I worked with Evolve Studios to create a short film for Atlas Free, a non-profit that works to fight sex trafficking. (This project contains AI imagery)

Keeping it local..

I love working with Omaha companies. This year, I worked with Digital Moxie Studio, a woman-owned production company, on videos for the Nebraska Aids Project, TeamMates Mentoring, and the Army Corps of Engineers. More to come in 2025!

Unscripted..

In June, I got to attend the Creative Arts Daytime Emmys for two nominations for last year’s seasons of Car Masters: Rust to Riches and Tex Mex Motors (Mak Pictures/Netflix). Although there were no wins, much fun was had.

Early on this year, I worked on graphics for the new season of Ghost Adventures and its spinoffs, which was great fun, airing on Max/Discovery+.
